Matthew Katz is an associate with the firm. He handles criminal/traffic defense, general civil litigation and landlord/tenant matters. Mr. Katz received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2020, and was admitted to the Maryland Bar later that year. During law school Mr. Katz served as a Rule 19-217 Attorney in the Criminal Practice Clinic, where he handled criminal matters at both the District and Circuit Court levels. Mr. Katz also participated in the combined University of Maryland-University of Baltimore Advanced Trial Advocacy program.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Katz graduated from Washington College, where he was a captain of the men’s tennis team and a member of the Student Athlete Leadership Council and the national history honor society Phi Alpha Theta.
Mr. Katz is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, the Queen Anne’s County Bar Association and the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association.
